Corpus Christi - June 11, 2023

Fr. Tadeusz Gorka led a Eucharistic Procession at Sacred Heart Parish today to celebrate the Feast of Corpus Christi, The Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ. The procession left church and went down Lewis road to Washington Street then back to the side of the Adoration Chapel. Our procession reminds us of the real presence of the body and blood of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist. Benediction and the Litany of the Most Precious Blood of Christ was recited. Father reminded us of the importance of visiting the Adoration Chapel either on Sundays or during the week. He also mentioned that we are in the second year of the Eucharistic Revival which is a worldwide Revival to draw attention to the gift of the Eucharist.
