Archbishop Nelson J. Pérez celebrated Mass and ordained three Transitional Deacons at the Chapel of Saint Martin of Tours at Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary on Saturday, May 13. Those ordained as Transitional Deacons are Bernard Okechukwu Ekeagwu, Gregory H. Miller, and Brendan R. Zehner.

Gregory H. Miller is a member of Sacred Heart Parish in Royersford. He entered St. Charles Borromeo Seminary in 2015 — the same year Pope Francis visited Philadelphia. A graduate of Sacred Heart Parish School and Archbishop Carroll High School, Gregory is the youngest of three siblings and is the son of George and Teresa Miller.

Honor Flight Philadelphia, a local non-profit organization, is currently looking for World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam War veterans who would like to travel with us to Washington, D.C. on September 9, 2023, where they will have the opportunity to visit the memorials dedicated to honoring those who have served and sacrificed for our country.” Transportation, breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as a USO show will be provided at NO COST to the veterans.
