Join our Sacred Heart’s Women’s group as we read the book A Blessing In Disguise: Miracles of The Seven Sorrows. The book is written by the NY Times best-selling author Immaculée Llibagiza, who survived 91 days as a young girl huddled in a cramped bathroom with seven other women during the 1994 Rwanda holocaust. She discusses how the Seven Sorrows Rosary kept her strong during this time. She presents to readers Mary’s specific teachings for how to pray the seven sorrows rosary, as well as offers the promises attached to the prayers. The Seven Sorrows is a perfect prayer to learn and dedicate yourself to as we begin the Lenten season.
The Women’s Group will meet on Mondays from 7 – 8:15 pm, starting February 19th. We meet in the Katharine Drexel room. If you plan to join the group or have any questions contact Beth Shoudt @ [email protected].
