40 Days for Life

The Sacred Heart Pro Life Group has many ways for you to get involved during Respect Life Month.  

October 1st - Respect for Life Sunday: 
Please take one of the prayer cards titled "A Prayer for Pregnant Mothers" and use it throughout the month of October, and beyond. 

- Join one of these prayer chains:

• St. Eleanor Respect Life Ministry will meet on Ridge Pike and Main St. Collegeville.  2pm - 3:30pm
• St. Helena Church at Planned Parenthood in Norristown, Wood and Powell Streets. 2pm - 3:30pm

October 14th - 40 Days for Life Campaign:  You are invited to participate in the 40 Days for Life Campaign Prayer Vigil at Planned Parenthood Center in Norristown located on Wood and Powell Streets.  Please sign up for an hour of prayer.  This year we are partnering with St. Eleanor's Parish. Sign up sheets will be available 9/30, 10/1, 10/7 and 10/8 in the Café after each Mass.  
 
October 15th - Outdoor Prayer Vigil:  Join us as we pray the Rosary at the outdoor Blessed Mother Prayer Shrine to celebrate Respect Life Month.  Let us gather after Mass at 11:15 on Sunday.   Let's consider more deeply why every human life is valuable and reflect on how to build a culture that protects life from conception to natural death. 
 
October 16th - March for Life Harrisburg, PA : The PA March will be held at the State Capitol Building, 501 N. 3rd Street,  
Harrisburg, PA.  It begins at 9:30am with Mass.  For more information: https://marchforlife.org/pennsylvania-march-for-life/

Amnion Pregnancy Care Center in Norristown is in desperate need of baby supplies such as diapers, baby clothing, baby products, books and toys.   
We will have a collection box in the Café for your donations.

Items needed:  pacifiers, bath toiletries, bath tubs, nail clippers, grooming kits, diapers size 1, 3-6, books in Spanish and English, breast feeding care, disaper rash cream, wearable swaddle, thermometers, teething rings, baby proofing items, Dreft laundry detergent, sippy cups, bottle brushes, winter clothes and much much more!


Our next Pro-Life Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday October 11th.
